09 scheduled tribe's government Ashram type schools are being operated in the state with the objective of educational development and providing better education, free meals, boarding, uniforms and study materials for growth of boys/girls of scheduled tribes. Among above said 09 schools, 03 are being operated for girls and 06 for boys. All these schools have been upgraded till class 12th. Out of these schools, 04 have been recognized from CBSE.
